Rooms nice and clean and staff very helpful. I have to leave a honest and fair review so here goes. Great welcome and plenty of parking. Superb stop off point for an early flight as airport is very close. A pint of San Miguel was as good as you will get anywhere and fair prices too. The meals we ordered in the bar were more than acceptable and served quickly. Every member of staff we met was helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 14 and the traffic noise was constant and noticeable throughout the night. The room was clean, warm and had all we needed though the bathroom was very cold. All in all well worth £85 a night and we would definitely stay again but would request not to be put in room 14 as its not ideal hearing traffic all night when you have an early morning flight.
A warm welcome - is sometimes just cheesy marketing BS But in my experience it's true. I was greated with a smile by 2 members of staff, and booked in promptly. The room although small is fine for me on my own away with work, clean and very well presented. Dinner was good, better then average pub grub and as expected a good choice of beer on tap. It was great to see a team who obviously worked well together and enjoyed what they do. Even though im at the front road noise isn't very bad as the windows are double glazed.
Needed somewhere to stop for food before arriving at Bristol Airport and have passed by pub several times in previous trips.Laat minute booked on phone and although a busy period we were given a table at the time we wanted..On arriving we were greeted with a smile and shown to our seats. Nice atmosphere well lit and warm. Very extensive menu plus as it was a Sunday we had choice of a roast dinner.Service was great, we were told might be a wait because of number of customers but food came out pretty quick. Roast dinner was lovely and wife had steak and ale pie. There are also rooms available so would definitely consider stop over if next trip is early morning.100% return visit on the cards well done!!
Close to the airport. Lovely staff and good food at reasonable prices. Handy place to stop off while waiting to collect/drop off at the airport. Rather spend money here than pay the rip off car park fees there! And it's a nice pub.
Great location for Bristol airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food good quality. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room however was cold and the shower head would not stay in the right position.
Fantastic experience at the Fox and Goose tonight! Service was amazing, Lily, Amy, Ellie and Kirby couldn’t do enough! Me and my wife went tonight as we are flying to Krakow in the morning and eat here whenever we fly from Bristol (we are from Swansea) When I ordered my food, I was told that my bill had been burned.. had to ask what this meant but apparently our names had been drawn to have the bill covered! What an amazing start to our holiday! Thank you so much to the guys named above, you were amazing tonight!! Btw the food was banging as well My wife is a vegetarian and thought the cheese pie was the best she had tasted and the steak I had was cooked to perfection! The dessert wasn’t half bad either Thanks guys for an awesome time tonight!!
Visited for work Christmas lunch - the entire experience from booking to paying was excellent! Booking / pre-order process was hassle free and allowed for changes even after deposit payment. Food (Christmas Menu) quality, taste, presentation and portion size were great all round, exceeded expectation for a "pub" Christmas lunch. Service levels from both bar staff and table service staff was friendly, helpful and not rushed - again exceeding expectations for any restaurant at this busy, stressful time of year! A fantastic pub, with great staff and lovely food! - Highly recommend for any occasion.
I am a driver for the local community bus service, the Fox & Goose has become a firm favourite amongst our members, within the building it is one even level and to the rear of the building there i a ramp and 2 shallow steps making the venue accessible to our members. The main restaurant area is open and airy with great natural light saturation, with views of the reservoir. Rich and the team do a great job of looking after us and the time between ordering and receiving your meal is impressive given how busy they can get.
